What is neuropsychology?
Neuropsychology is the study of how brain functioning affects thinking, learning, emotions, and behaviors.
In addition to completing a four-year doctoral degree, neuropsychologists complete a rigorous two-year fellowship and have extensive, specialized knowledge of brain structure and functions. Dr. Holland additionally has completed Board Certification in Clinical Neuropsychology.
Does my child need neuropsychology services?
A neuropsychological evaluation can help you understand the reasons your child may be struggling with learning, attention, memory, social skills, behavior, or emotional regulation. Neuropsychological evaluation also can identify your child's strengths and weaknesses, which can be useful information for supporting your child academically even if he/she is not struggling in school.
